What students are saying about these classes

Looking for small barns globally wanting to host 3-day workshops for Holistic Horseworks

Equine Remedial Therapy is a holistic approach to equine healthcare. Through the practice of multiple modalities, Remedial Therapists treat the horse as a whole rather than isolating certain areas. These include, but are not limited to, massage therapy, acupressure, joint mobilization, osteopathy, kinesio-taping, herbology and homeopathy. I aim to treat the root of the issue rather than just the symptoms. This results in improved overall health and performance.

Coronavirus and what we are doing to protect ourselves and you!

A virus is usually transmitted by touching something and then also touching your face or eyes. This includes handrails, seat belts on planes, door handles and the list goes on.

I travel with Colloidal silver in a nose spray bottle and apply 1 drop each eye and in nostrils before entering the airport and every few hours and can apply to fingers. I also mist to back of my throat if I feel the need. Colloidal silver is a natural Antibiotic, Antiviral and Antifungal. I choose the Dynamite brand at 200 PPM (parts per million product called Solace) FREE SHIPPING IN MARCH

Balance of class fee is to be paid to the instructor no later than 30 days prior to the class start date. If you need to reschedule a two-week notice must be given so that we have time to fill your spot as pre-studying is necessary for any students. No refunds are given on deposits as digital study materials have already been sent to you, you will have a future credit instead. You will be sent a Venmo or Paypal link by the instructor teaching your class. Since we teach small private classes full payment confirms your spot in the clinic.

For the last five years, we have kept our fees the same. As much as we would like to maintain these rates we find that we must increase our fees. This will allow us  to continue to provide the quality of service and sustain our reach to horse lovers around the globe. The following prices are effective immediately: Level 1 $825, Level 2 $775, Level 3 $575 with class deposits of $350. Level 1 auditors are now $300. Class Descriptions

Equine Skeletal and Musculature Massage Therapy Training

Holistic Horseworks equine bodywork training program will deepen the bond between horse and rider by opening up joy and ease of movement for both. This will result in fewer Veterinary treatments necessary as well as saddle fitting high dollar cost expenditures. Preventing these joint and body issues is much cheaper than treating them. You can learn our whole program, that will keep your horses healthy sound and rideable through their ’30s, for less than the cost of a good saddle.

In our online, or hands-on classes, you’ll gain a broader perspective and understanding of horse health, skeletal alignment, musculature balance affecting hoof growth and shape as well as rider-horse connectivity. Learn more about equine alternative therapy courses below!

Step 1

Level 1 Equine Musculoskeletal Unwinding is all soft work, from ears to tail, that is very effective in correcting gait abnormalities, saddle fitting issues, and mysterious lameness issues. As well as helping the horse to get more wind and thus more stamina as the body can take in more oxygen as well as having more drive and push from the hind end. Soft gentle moves to manually release and keep the skeleton in proper form and function is where we start thus helping the body to load the joints and hoof correctly helps prevent premature arthritic conditions like sidebone and ringbone. Also, deep muscle unwinding from the inside out has the horse presenting a body 2″ taller, 4″ longer and they look as if they have gained 20 pounds, as the Fascia and muscles relax, after just a 1-hour session. As well as helping to balance Chakras and Acupressure Meridians. The key is to release the 1st rib misalignment, which is in our foals by age 7 months creating the high-low hoof syndrome Farriers are working on. Most professional modalities and holistic equine training courses do not address these issues so then you are always working on the ‘symptom’ and not the cause which is why the chiropractic issues come back.

Step 2

Level 2 Cranial Sacral Whole Body Unwinding and Advanced Applied Kinesiology In this class, we go deeper to release the inner core muscles and Fascia all over the body. This Fascia releasing also helps the Organs to relax and glide internally as they should. This helps the acupressure meridians come back into balance as well. The advanced muscle testing kinesiology is about what does this area needs to heal? For how long? Then what does the body need to come back to whole health wellness and full potential and power? Is anything else needed? For how long? Using these methods the majority of horses labeled ‘unfixable’ have come back to healthy sound happy lives. Cranial bones are addressed as well as the students receiving and giving a cranial unwinding session, to feel in their body what we are giving to the beloved Equines we work on. Many horses with Uveitis, Kissing Spine, Wobblers syndrome and String-halt http://www.thehorse.com/articles/26838/stringhalt-in-horses have been helped in our 3-day workshops as well as private appointments. April@holistichorseworks.com to inquire about private equine alternative therapy course sessions.

Step 3

Level 3 Cranial Decompression is not taught by any other school. This is a unique program developed by the founder of Holistic Horseworks LLC, April Love.

Our instructors are teaching students how to manually release and decompress the cranial bones that have been jammed down and forward, from past head traumas, and pull back when tied incidents. I have yet to see a horse in captivity that has not had at least one head trauma. This creates horses that spook, head shaking, hard to bridle as well as can start the process of Uveitis. This cranial compression, affecting the TMJ mobility, also creates an up-down chewing process creating big bulging muscles on their forehead. Then the horse cannot correctly grind their feed sideways, to balance their teeth creating the need for dental floating yearly. This also can create digestion issues that can create gas and bloating. In just one 45 min session the Occiput, Parietal, TMJ, Lacrimal bones that are jammed down are lifted and in flux again. Clients say “It’s so incredible what happened in just one session!” Before and after pics are on this page http://www.holistichorseworks.com/craniosacral-energy-work/

Please use an Equine Dental Professional that has had the $25,000 worth of schooling to be an Equine Dentist, as the horse only has so much tooth growing up out of the gum, then they are done.
